Main Steam Valve in hydraulic control system is manually opened and site operated. It is very laboursome and not convenient for operator. It is available for remote electrical control and position monitoring.
Inside the MSV, pilot valve leakage affects the security oil pressure even causes MSV shutdown and turbine trip in error.
