For old steam turbine units, the thermal control instrument, monitoring and control system, hydraulic control system technology is relatively backward, which cannot satisfy the need of the power grid load control and power plant automation upgrade.

The upgrades/retrofit involves hydraulic governing security system, electric hydraulic control system, load/extraction control, speed governing control.

After automation retrofitting of steam turbine unit control system, it will realize automatic functions of latch, open the main valve, start-up, idle for warm-up, critical speed avoidance, speed control, synchronization, electrical/thermal load control.

n   Retrofit manual latch system with remote latch system

It is available for latch operating of emergency/overspeed governor and receiving feedback signal of latch state in control room.

n   Retrofit manual control with automation control for MSV opening/closing

It is available for remote operating and automatic shutdown.

n   Trip oil system(security oil) and interlock protection

In the condition of mechanical trip, it sends a trip signal to electric system, and electrical system will be tripped.

The three pressure switches are in charge of security oil monitoring, and it is 2 out of 3 logic. 送any two of switch signals will active the mechanical trip to electrical trip.
